HNB's winning vision

HNB is a premier private sector commercial bank in Sri Lanka with a history of more than 120 years, which operates in all spheres of financial intermediation through its divisions and group companies serving all market segments including corporate, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), retail and micro finance. HNB is listed on the Colombo stock exchange and recently became the first private Bank in Sri Lanka to obtain an international credit rating. Based on the strength of the bank, HNB was rated on par with the national rating of Sri Lanka by Moody's investors service.
