'Corella Arrow' : The first of four open hatch gantry crane bulkers delivered by Oshima Shipbuilding

On June 18, the Port of Vancouver USA welcomed the 'Corella Arrow', commanded by Captain Davor Perusina of Croatia, on its maiden voyage.rnThe 'Corella Arrow' was built by Oshima Shipbuilding of Japan and launched May 11, 2009. It is 225 metres in overall length and has deadweight capacity of 72,863 tonnes.rnThe vessel's main engines are twin Yanmar Amagasaki 8N21AL-EV and single Yanmar Amagasaki 6N21AL-SV, along with a single Kawasaki Heavy Industries 6S60ME-C propulsion engine. Vessel manoeuvrability is enhanced by a single Nakashima Propeller TCT-260 tunnel thruster.
