Finland-based Alamarin-Jet has developed a control, steering and manoeuvring system for twin-installation water jet-equipped boats that replaces the conventional set-up of shifting mechanism and steering wheel. Using the IO system (Intelligent Operation), the helmsman can control engine throttles, gearboxes and water jet-steering nozzles, as well as reverse deflectors. The IO system allows full control of the boat in every circumstance, meeting the requirements of rescue organisations, military and other commercial customers.
