PURPOSE: An intelligent operation system and an intelligent operation method for a water supply reservoir are provided to prevent the malfunction of a pump by properly controlling the water level of a water supply reservoir.;CONSTITUTION: An intelligent operation system for a water supply reservoir comprises a pump(20), a supplying water flowmeter(30), a conveying water flowmeter(40), a water supply control valve(60), and a control unit(70). The pump supplies water from a purification plant(1) to a water supply reservoir(2). The supplying water flowmeter is installed in a water supply pipe(50) to measure the amount of supplying water. The conveying water flowmeter is installed in a water convey pipe(80) to measure the amount of conveying water. The water supply control valve opens and closes the water supply pipe. The control unit calculates the current water level of the water supply reservoir and controls the operation of the pump and the water supply control valve.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
