Estonian shipbuilder Baltic Workboats has delivered the first in a series of five patrol boats to the Swedish Coast Guard. The 'KBV 312' design patrol vessel, which has reached its home port in Falkenberg on the west coast of Sweden, is based on Baltic Workboats' successful "Patrol 24" platform. Built to Lloyd's Register 100A1 SSC Patrol Mono HSC G3 MCH UMS classification standards, the advanced and versatile design will be used for a diverse range of tasks, including: maritime surveillance, border and fisheries control, environmental protection, fire-fighting and rescue, and civil protection and diving operations.
