Damen Dredging Equipment (DDE) is a Damen yard specialising in the design, building and equipment supply of dredgers. Delivering both stationary dredgers and complete systems for trailing suction hopper dredgers, DDE is a core component of the Damen Shipyards Group, offering a complete dredging work boat range in tandem with other company divisions. Headquartered in Nijkerk, The Netherlands, DDE is situated along the Arkervaart Canal. As well as its dredging engineering work, the Damen yard also continuously builds cutter suction dredgers (CSDs). In line with the Damen Shipyards philosophy of standardisation, standard vessels are built speculatively and the entire CSD range is available from stock.
