BBDO New York was awarded Best of Show for its "Brilliant Machines" campaign for General Electric Co. at the Business Marketing Association of New York's Global ACE Awards ceremony last month. The agency also took home a gold award for best integrated marketing campaign more than $1 million for "Brilliant Machines." The ACE Awards recognize outstanding creative campaigns in b-to-b marketing. For the first time, BMA New York opened up the competition to global agencies. Ogilvy & Mather (New York and Taipei, Taiwan) won a combined 11 gold awards; Stein IAS (New York and London) won eight gold awards; and gyro New York won six gold awards. Bader Rutter, Milwaukee, took home six awards overall, and Eric Mower+As-sociates, Syracuse, N.Y., won five.
