Now that the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has committed to net-zero emissions by 2050, the real work needs to commence in order to meet that goal. A key element for the organization in realizing its ambitions is a high level of engagement from various governments to support sustainability targets, and that assistance needs to materialize soon. "There's a strong commitment by the airlines in Latin America and the Caribbean to move forward."
