摘要

At about 1400 Eastern time, the airplane was substantially damaged when its nose gear collapsed on landing. The solo private pilot was not injured. Visual conditions prevailed. The pilot reported that, after he selected the landing gear to the down position, he observed three green lights were illuminated.rnThe pilot reported the airplane touched down "normally," but when he lowered the nose gear to the runway for the rollout, the airplane continued to pitch down until the nose and the propeller tips contacted the runway.
