Where's Reverse?

The three-person flight crew was taxiing a Boeing 727 for departure at the San Antonio (Texas) International Airport but missed the turn onto a taxi way. Instead, the crew taxied into a confined ramp area. A ground controller observed the situation and asked the flight crew if they were able to maneuver the airplane back to a taxiway or if they needed a tug to reposition. The crew responded that they could maneuver the airplane without ground assistance.
