AIR-TO-AIR PHOTO SHOOTS

The Cubana crews were, in general, very amicable and my friend the late Paul Duffy, a well-known Irish aviation photographer, arranged some air-to-air photo sessions with them and I was lucky enough to join him. It has to be said the piloting skills of the Cuban crews was superb, proficient in positioning their aircraft for what was usually just a single pass due to speed differential with the camera aircraft.
