Lynx AH7 for IWM Duxford

Westland Lynx AH7 XZ194 has been donated to the Imperial War Museum by the Ministry of Defence and is now on display at IWM Duxford. The aircraft entered service on January 3,1979, as a Lynx AH1. It was converted as a Mark 7 in September 1992 after 3,104 flying hours. The helicopter flew with 7 Regiment Army Air Corps at Middle Wallop until May 2012 when it was declared 'non-effective' after 6,667 flying hours. XZ194 is the first AH7 to go on display in a UK museum and also the first British Army helicopter to be displayed at IWM.
