The new Channel Islands Aircraft Registry, launched on December 9, 2013, is of note in this month's listings. Originally intended as a combined Guernsey and Jersey venture, the '2-' register is run solely by Guernsey after the sister islands failed to agree terms for a joint registry. Jersey has since announced it will introduce its own register in mid-2014. Full information for the four machines on the Guernsey register, which are in effect testing the system, is not yet available.
