Inverness Runway Work

Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) is to spend £1.4m on resurfacing the runway at Inverness Airport. The work is due to take up to 12 weeks and will be conducted at night to avoid disruption to flights. Construction has already begun for a £1.2m taxiway extension, which will provide a link from the main runway to the site of the Inverness Airport Business Park - paving the way for future development, including the opportunity for MRO and other aircraft facilities to be based there.
