There are just two new types on this month's UK Register. The first, G-CIGB, is a former US Army Air Corps Stinson L-1 observation aircraft. It crashed in Alaska in June 1944 -the wreck was recovered after the war and displayed for many years at the Canadian Museum of Flight & Transportation at Surrey, British Columbia. It was sold in New Zealand as a rebuild project in 2000 and has now moved to the UK with its owner. The second newcomer is the CM Sunbird G-CISU, which is a UK-designed low-wing, all-composite single-seat microlight.
