The only new type added to the UK register this month is Aeros AnT/ Discus G-CIKW, a single-seat microlight hailing from Ukraine. Also added is G-MCGM, an AgustaWestland AW189 twin-engined, medium-lift helicopter, a larger version of the popular AW139, which is destined for use on Bristow Helicopters' new search and rescue contract in the UK. There are also a couple of new variants, with G-HEMC being the first Airbus Helicopters EC145T2 registered in the UK. It is similar to the older EC145 but is now equipped with a Fenestron tail-rotor like the smaller EC135. The second new variant is G-SKBD, a Nextant 400XPi conversion of the Hawker 400XR which is fitted with Williams FJ44 engines and has several aerodynamic enhancements. The only other bizjet joining the register this month is Challenger 601-3A G-JFJC. Airline additions include the latest Airbus A320 for easyJet and a couple of second-hand examples for British Airways' Gatwick operations.
