Sir Richard Branson's share in Virgin Atlantic, the airline he founded, will be cut by Air France-KLM Group confirming plans to acquire a 31% stake in the business as part of a new transatlantic joint venture (JV) with the UK carrier and its US stablemate, Delta Air Lines.
