Typhoon Back 'Home' at Hendon

Hawker Typhoon Mk.1b MN235 has returned to its home, RAF Museum London, where it was reassembled and put back on display during the last week of November. It had been at the Hendon attraction since 1972 until loaned to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum at Rockliffe, Ottawa, in 2014 - before which it was sent to the Michael Beetham Conservation Centre at Cosford for restoration work and repainted to represent a Typhoon of 440 Squadron RCAF.
