Purchasing an ARFF apparatusrnis a “big” deal. Getting it “right”rninvolves a lot of planning,rnmoney, and coordination from arnlot of people. In the past couplernof years, I’ve had the opportunityrnto be a part of the process inrnacquiring four (4) ARFF apparatus.rnWhile I was fortunate tornhave the assistance of severalrnfolks who were “experienced” inrnall aspects of the acquisitionrnprocess, I wish I would’ve had arn“broad-strokes” primer beforehandrnto serve as a guide.
