Whatever else it is, the Millennium Dome is a learning experience. There are a host of lessons about the use of a-v and the nature of communications that a-v clients, production companies and technology providers should be able to take away from a visit to North Greenwich. In terms of a-v communications it is one of the biggest showcases for technique, design and content management assembled in a single place. That alone makes it worthwhile devoting the following feature section to the different zones. Most, but not all, have been covered, and we'll be returning to the others — and to other a-v activities on the site, like the education centre and the Dome's use of audio — in future.
