Videowall goes Orange

Orange has replaced the media wall at its technical operations centre in Bristol, in order to create a bigger display and give it more operational flexibility. The original wall, installed in 1998, used two 100in diagonal systems. The new £250,000 installation uses an 8x2 media cube wall and a secondary 2x3 wall. The larger wall meets the requirements of Orange's Technology Management Centre (TMC), while the adjacent smaller display is dedicated to the needs of the Service Management Centre (SMC). Orange originally installed two looin VistaGraphX 2500 systems from Electrohome and after short-listing three vendors during the procurement process this time around, Christie - which had taken over Electrohome's display activities - bid successfully for the contract.
