Rotherham College of Arts and Technology is using Sony videoconferencing to increase staff collaboration and accessibility. Sony's PCS-G50P videoconferencing system has been installed into the college as part of a deal made by Lanway. The educational facility has bought six units - including cameras, plasmas and stands - to set up videoconferencing links internally between campuses and externally with business partners in the local area. "The primary driver for this was to improve the accessibility of staff,' says Robert Hutton, IT manager at Rotherham College for Arts and Technology. 'This will enable us to improve communication between the various stafflocated around different campuses, as well as support ongoing training.'
