Hearing-impaired visitors to Kensington Palace, one of London's most popular tourist attractions, have been able to enjoy their trip thanks to a recently purchased Sennheiser Tourguide system, provided by audio installation company Sysco. The palace was the home of Diana, Princess of Wales, and has been the location for the exhibition 'Diana: a Princess Remembered' which was open to the public between July 2007 and March 2008. Sysco supplied a total of five Sennheiser 2020-D Tourguide systems, consisting of HDE 2020-D headphone/receivers and SK 2020-D mini-transmitters (five apiece) along with two HSP-2-EW-3 headset mics and an EZL 2020-20L combined storage case and charging station. 'They were used in a room with four screens displaying various media images of Diana, said Chris Mothers-dale, operations manager at Sysco. 'There were directional speakers in the room, but the Tourguide system allowed us to broadcast the four tour speeches from the backs of the media players,' he added.
