Observing live classroom situations is invaluable for trainee teachers, but can entail time-consuming travel for the students and disruption for the kids. So the University of Nottingham has set up video conferencing codecs across a network of school classrooms, enabling PGCE (teacher training) students to learn about good classroom management without leaving the university.
