The phrase "going the extra mile" has been used when referring to the ways in which Sahara supports end-users. Behind the company lies an untold story and the role its managing director Kevin Batley has played in it. A former colleague sums up the man nicely: "I admire Kevin for how he's developed his company. He is forward thinking and doesn't just understand the importance of innovation to stay ahead of the competition, he also acts upon it. Under his leadership, Sahara continues to be an excellent company that has a strong family feeling where people can have fun, but work hard as professionals at the same time." Quite a compliment. Indeed it's hard to separate the company's development from the entrepreneur-ship that mirrors the man himself. It makes an interesting read.
