Although no one in the auto industry is happy with the strength of the British pound, Renault and Vauxhall are not too worried about their choice of Luton in Bedfordshire as a production site for the Renault Trafic/Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro. The new 2.8-tonne van has an expected lifespan of 10-12 years, and in that time the pound may descend again, or even join the euro.
