Long before China emerged as the fastest growing automotive market in the world, ASIMCO Technologies recognised the future role which the automotive industry would play in the country's economic development, as well as the impact which the country would have on the global industry. Established in 1994, ASIMCO has now become one of the largest independent producers of automotive components in China. William Kimberiey spoke to Jack Perkowski, its chairman and chief executive officer, on what the future holds for both his company and for China.
