Citroeen's concept matches diesel to rear wheel motors

Citroeen will unveil the first move in a drive to cut the cost of hybrid motoring when it rolls out a remarkable-looking high-performance, high-economy concept at the Paris Motor Show. To be revealed as a development of the C4 HDi hybrid demonstration vehicle shown in January, the C-Metisse design study features a drivetrain that blends a turbocharged V6 diesel engine with electric motors located in the rear wheels.
