Altair takes crashing to next model level

US CAE firm Altair Engineering has developed a crash environment for Catia V5. The HyperCrash tool, which is the first of its kind on the market, allows engineers to model crash data and include nonlinear material properties in a dynamic database. Usually, engineers have to perform intensive crash analyses outside Catia, adding a lot of time to development.
