OEMs tune into digital problems

Carmakers are calling for coordinated research and action between industry, broadcasters and governments to smooth the switchover to digital radio. Some EU member states want all new vehicles to be fitted with digital radios from 2013, some even sooner. Some are seeking to make it compulsory for every vehicle currently on the road to have digital radio from 2015.
