As much as developments in powertrain, drivetrain and material technologies are ever present, the growth in automotive electronics is staggering. More specifically, the electronic systems being designed to help the industry reach a point where fully autonomous vehicles are on our roads and consumers, not engineers, are sitting in the front seats. Even in current vehicles the scale of electronic systems - and the software that is needed to run technologies - is enormous.
