Materials for Seat Belts and Airbag Modules

摘要

Based upon the historical background of the development of Seat Belts and Airbags, now the main passenger restraint systems in cars, the paper presents an explanation of not only the constant enhance- ment of the restraint systems themselves but also the constant improvement to the design of the respective materials/components which is imperative in order to meet with any new requirements for these systems.
