In these modern days people seek relief from the cares of the day in the entertainment provided by films, legitimate stage and radio. The Policeman behind the counter at Police Headquarters, however, looks upon such forms of entertainment with cynical eyes. To him daily is revealed a kaleidoscopic procession in which the marchers run the whole gamut of human emotions - love, hate, jealousy, fear, fickleness and other frailties to which mankind is heir, providing real drama, pathos and humour which cannot be faithfully portrayed in the world of make-believe.
