A representative from each State and Territory police service met at the NSW Police Leadership Centre, Western Sydney University complex, in Hawkesbury, New South Wales, for a two-day Liaison Officers' seminar. During the seminar in November 2018, attendees discussed ways of attracting and maintaining subscribers to the magazine, analysing content material from each of the policing jurisdictions, and sourcing new material for publication. Each of the Liaison Officers is responsible for presenting new police recruits with an introduction to the Australian Police Journal at their respective police academy, as well as addressing other police personnel or interested groups (where required) to provide them with an opportunity to subscribe to the publication. The Australian Police Journal is a highly respected, informative, and educational magazine. Investigations conducted, current practices and procedures implemented, and new equipment trialled are just some of the topics that regularly feature in this quarterly publication, which continues to receive the full support of all the Australian Police Commissioners.
