Australian wine schools show their wares

Australian wine-producing high schools and colleges put their products under the scrutiny of a judging panel in early June at the University of Adelaide's Wake Campus. The annual Australian Schools Wine Show, sponsored by Winetitles, highlights the achievements of individual students or school groups in producing wines, wine or winegrape-based sauce or chutney, and wine label design.rnThe judges presented Faith Lutheran School, located in Nuriootpa, Barossa Valley, with the award for this year's Red Wine of the Show for its 2006 Shiraz. Nearby school Nuriootpa High School collected the White Wine of the Show for its 2007 Chardonnay.
