Blouin and Rosenberg's is an interesting book, and I read it from cover to cover without a moment's thought of obligation to the authors or the reviews editor. Of course, without access to body language or voice tone, a description of 'interesting' might be faint praise. And in fact there is a sense of 'on the other hand, however' deliberately implied.
