It has been a trailblazing journey for North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) since its inception in July 2002 after the Government of NCT of Delhi decided to privatize the State owned power distribution utility. In just over six years since inception NDPL has set new benchmarks in the field of power distribution in India. It has recorded handsome gains in performance which in turn have contributed to reduction in AT&C losses by more than 65%.rnNDPL is a signatory to the UN Global Compact Charter and is now a part of an elite group of 1200 organizations the world over. The Global Compact helps the organization in demonstrating leadership by advancing universal principles and responsible corporate citizenship to make the global economy more sustainable and inclusive. NDPL also in process of getting SA-8000-2008 Certified. SA-8000-2008 standard is a verification system for assuring humane workplaces.
