Man must continuously face the twofold problem of acquiring resources to supply the hunger of a growing population and the offsetting depletion of such resources. Nations compete to attain this. In this endless battle of economic scarcity, none shall emerge victorious unless countries strike the perfect balance between both. The insatiable demand for energy has nations all over the world strive to secure power supplies vital to inflating population and at the same time obtaining the most economical raw materials such as fertilizers, metals, petrochemicals, and advance materials in Information and Communications Technology among others. Cheap raw materials count, but quality engineering compensating such frugality provides a deep challenge.
