KOREA AEROSPACE & DEFENSE EXHIBITION 2001

Following the overwhelming success of staging the first two Seoul Air Shows in 1996 and 1998 respectively, where major companies from all over the world participated, the South Korean authorities have decided to combine the air show with a defence industry exhibition now to be known as the Korea Aerospace and Defense Exhibition. While the previous two air shows were co-organised by the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) and the Korea Aerospace Industries Association (KAIA), this new combined exhibition will have a third co-organiser, the Korea Defense Industries Association (KDIA). The first in this new series, the Korea Aerospace & Defense Exhibition 2001 is scheduled to be held on October 15 to 21, 2001 at Seoul Airport under the Honorary Chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea and Co-Chairmanship of the Ministers of National Defense and the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy. As stated earlier, the organisers will now comprise the ROKAF, the KAIA and the KDIA.
