Renault Trucks: On the Silkroad to China

The Renault Trucks Adventure/Silkroad 2005 was initiated to celebrate the ubiquitous French truck-making company's marketing and promotional activities in China which saw, as an important milestone, the creation of Chinese subsidiary, Renault Trucks China in 2004. The subsidiary is the culmination of Renault's presence within China since the 1960s through Berliet Trucks' programme of technology transfer through to the forging of a partnership with the local Dong Feng Group, a major automotive producer, leading to the joint venture realised by the establishment of Renault Trucks China.
