The Mi-26 (civil version Mi-26T) is the world's largest cargo-carrying series-produced helicopter capable of airlifting a wide range of combat equipment in its cargo hold. The Mi-26 is intended for carrying troops, combat materiel, cargoes in its cargo hold and on slings, as well as for airlanding of personnel and combat equipment in a wide range of weather conditions and at any time of the day. Its troop-carrying version can carry up to 82 paratroopers.
