StarHub increases maximum LTE speeds to 1Gbps

StarHub, Singapore's second largest mobile network operator (MNO) by subscribers, has increased its peak mobile 4G LTE data speeds from 400Mbps to 1Gbps. The cellco claims to be the first in Singapore to offer a commercially-ready 1Gbps network for its mobile customers. Subscribers currently using StarHub's 'Unlimited Weekend' post-paid mobile plan will be able to access the maximum connection speed of 1Gbps, providing they have a 1Gbps-capable handset, such as the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ and the Sony Xperia XZ2.
