National Projects Build Tailwinds for Korean RFID

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) captures growing attention as its uses expand. It works in security and inventory systems, in access control, baggage handling, and various other industrial and retail settings. Among the countries adopting RFID technology, Korea showed healthy growth in 2005 as many government-initiated pilot services began operations. In the past year, private enterprises in Korea also have begun to introduce RFID.
