Nippon Chemi-Con Corp. plans to establish an R&D base in China, thus speeding up the cultivation of rapidly growing local companies in an aim to expand business in China. The company will also properly put in place manufacturing, sales, and engineering to attain this goal. At present, the company has established a preparation room for the R&D Center within its manufacturing subsidiary in Wuxi. The company plans to establish a local subsidiary by this fall. To date, Nippon Chemi-Con has mainly supported Japanese, European and American manufacturers in China with their locally produced products, and supplied them to Taiwanese manufacturers as well. This time, Nippon Chemi-Con has decided to establish an engineering division in China, in addition to its existing facilities for sales and manufacturing activities, believing that addressing the expansion of China's domestic demand and the globalization of Chinese companies will hold the key.
