Bright LED Surface Light Source Promotes New Lighting Styles

Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., in partnership with TB Group Inc., has devised a new-generation thin light-emitting diode (LED) surface light source designed for signs with internal illuminations and luminous wall decoration. Sumitomo Chemical contributed its design technology for light guide panels, while TB Group applied its technologies for lighting control, temperature control, and rainproof measures to develop the light guide panel-type thin surface light source. A special processing has been applied at the end face of the panel, resolving the uneven light appearing at the joint of the other panels.
