Six-Axis Articulated Robot Promotes Flexible Production Systems

Yaskawa electric corporation has developed a compact six-axis articulated robot, which can be used for assembly and handling of small components, and for laying and insertion of electric and electronic components. The company plans to verify the functions of the robot by installing it to in-house production system in a bid to put up flexible production systems in the future.
