We are now halfway through the Society year. I am pleased to report it's been a great year so far. I've had the opportunity to meet many ASHRAE and industry members in the last six months. I'm excited to see how these folks exemplify my presidential theme of "People, Passion and Performance." As I shared with you in Seattle at the 2014 Annual Conference, measuring and improving building performance has always been a priority of ASHRAE. Building performance is one of the cornerstones of our strategic plan adopted in June. The plan's four strategic goals-connect, educate, extend, and adapt-serve as broad statements of what we hope to accomplish over the next several years.
