Gathering data from the buildings we occupy allows the owners and managers to make informed decisions. Knowing more about water than our parents and grandparents knew and understanding the impact of water on public health is not an undue burden. This knowledge allows all users to exist comfortably in surroundings with safeguards placed on the piped systems necessary for society. Wise building owners and managers will opt to utilize the strategies offered in this discussion to promote a transparent and healthy experience for occupants absent the risk of water — borne contamination by Legionella and other pathogens.
