Wagner's Prelude and "Liebestod"nfrom Tristan und Isolde and the Prelude and "Good Friday Music" from Parsifal, alongnTchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, were captured the foUowing year, with the Adagio fromnhis own Symphonic Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, with Edwin Fisher as soloist,nculminating his pre-war HMV series in 1939.
