Aviation Maintenance Professional Military Education (PME)

As course changes occur in the TRADOC community, the message does not always get out to the field in a timely manner or down to the lowest level. While Aviation leaders from all 3 Components (COMPO) have been briefed on these topics during the most recent Aviation Senior Leader Forum, I want to reach the widest audience possible. There are significant changes being implemented in the maintainer Professional Military Education (PME) courses taught at the Aviation Noncommissioned Officer Academies (NCOA). Some of these changes are long overdue, as TRADOC requires Programs of Instruction (POI) to be updated every 2-3 years based on the Critical Task and Site Selection Board (CTSSB) results. This process ensures Soldiers receive the most current and relevant training when they attend the Advanced Leader Course (ALC) and Senior Leader Course (SLC). These PME changes have significantly revised the training content, training location options, and course lengths for the RC.
